LOS ANGELES, CA (May 9, 2024) – Riot Games has unveiled exciting new details about the highly anticipated Rotating Shop coming toTeamfight Tactics, the world’s largest PC strategy game. Initially announced in the Dev Drop video introducing the game’s current Inkborn Fables set theme, the Rotating Shop will give players more agency in choosing specific cosmetics by showing them a new selection of cosmetics that rotate on a set schedule. It will be released in Patch 14.11 on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
“The Rotating Shop offers players more choice in the specific cosmetics they want, and a refreshed store experience to players,” said Alex Yang, Senior Game Product Manager. “We’re looking forward to rolling out this new feature in Inkborn Fables and seeing players’ reaction to the system!”
Details include:
-
The Rotating Shop will contain two main sections: Mythic and Seasonal.
-
The Shop will use two currencies: Realm Crystals and Mythic Medallions.
-
The Mythic section uses Mythic Medallions and contains a small selection of TFT’s rarest & top-tier Tacticians, Arenas, and Booms. On release, you’ll be able to grab:
-
A Brand-New Mythic Chibi, Arena, and Boom
-
Chibi Prestige Dragonmancer Yasuo
-
Chibi Divine Sword Irelia
-
Spirit Blossom Yone Boom
-
Prestige Dragon Fist Lee Sin Boom
-
-
The Seasonal section uses Realm Crystals and contains a much larger selection of brand-new cosmetics and classics. Highlights you can get upon release include:
-
Chibi Ezreal, Chibi Yone
-
Poro Yeet Boom
-
Dr. Shisa
-
Arcade Gloop
-
Plant Buddy Sprite
-
Spirit Blossom Kanmei Lightcharger
-
Goodest Duckbill
-
Dark Star Poptail
-
Nimbus Cloud, Hydroblast Booms
-
Base Yone, Base Ezreal Booms
-
Many more!
-
-
Treasure Realms will continue to exist with the Rotating Shop launch.
-
Players will be able to earn new Realm Crystals through Treasure Realms, Passes (both free and Pass+), and Events. Mythic Medallions will come from Treasure Realms.
-
With the addition of these new currencies to Treasure Realms, we’re reducing the price of each Treasure Realm to 50 Treasure Tokens per pull (half the current price.) The Mythic content drop rate of each pull is also being reduced. These changes will result in less investment for each pull, more rewards along the way, and more control over acquiring the content you want via Mythic Medallions.
-
Guaranteed drop counts are being reset and removed with the patch, and players will all be granted an appropriate number of Realm Crystals and Mythic Medallions to compensate.
