Arc System Works America, Inc. today announced that HUNTERxHUNTER NENxIMPACT will be released globally on July 17, 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Steam, and Nintendo Switch™ platforms as the first full-scale HUNTERxHUNTER fighting game!
HUNTERxHUNTER NENxIMPACT will be available in Standard (digital and physical), Deluxe (digital only), and Limited (physical only) editions for respective platforms. Pre-orders for PlayStation 5 and Steam, as well as Nintendo Switch (physical only), are open now. Digital pre-orders for Nintendo Switch will start at a later date.
Digital Standard Edition pre-orders will include the base game and a character color variation for Killua (PlayStation 5), Hisoka (Steam), or Gon (Nintendo Switch). Pre-orders for the digital-only Deluxe Edition will include the base game, character color variation, and Season Pass 1 access. PlayStation 5 and Steam pre-order players will also receive 48 hours of Early Access.
As for the physical editions available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, fans can choose from both Standard and Limited Edition packages! The physical Standard Edition comes with the base game while the physical-only Limited Edition includes an assortment of game–themed goodies – including the base game, Season Pass 1, a special box, Steelbook case, artbook, acrylic stands (Gon and Killua), and costume pack (Hisoka and Kurapika).
And speaking of Season Pass, players can also look forward to the first playable DLC character, Neferpitou, who was also unveiled today!
All editions of HUNTERxHUNTER NENxIMPACT include the following:
- STORY MODE – Enjoy a retelling of famous HUNTERxHUNTER scenes and play against a NPC based on specific scenarios.
- SINGLE PLAYER MODES – Test your skills and challenge yourself in the Sky Arena to become the Floor Master. Or in Combo Trial, clear character combos.
- ONLINE BATTLE – Fight fierce battles against other online players.
- RANKED MATCH MODE – Features intense competition for Rank Points. Increase your rank through point accumulation.
- PLAYER MATCH MODE – Create a room with friends and have casual fun.
- OFFLINE MODE – Play offline with friends and family or against a NPC at your leisure.
- TRAINING MODE – Practice your skills making use of Reset and Record to prepare for any match scenario.
- REPLAY MODE – View replays of your matches and study the moves of your opponents.
- COLLECTIBLES – Gather Titles, Profile Icons, and G.I. Cards when you play in Story Mode or Single Player Mode. Customize your profile as well as character’s dialogue and icon.
