Teamfight Tactics Revival: Dawn of Heroes arrives on 09/25!

I loved the GALAXIES set revival! Later this month, DAWN OF HEROES (set 5.5) is making its triumphant return! Check out the details below ~

=============================

TLDRTeamfight Tactics Revival: Dawn of Heroes is a limited-time game mode featuring a fresh twist on gameplay and a new progression system based on the mid-set update for Teamfight Tactics’ fifth set, Reckoning: Dawn of Heroes. Revival: Dawn of Heroes will be available on PC and mobile from September 25 – November 4, 2024.

What you need to know:

  • First light approaches with Teamfight Tactics (TFT), the largest PC strategy game in the world, bringing back Reckoning: Dawn of Heroes in its latest set revival.

    • Set revivals are temporary game modes where Teamfight Tactics revitalize old champions and traits from previous sets by applying learnings from modern TFT to improve the player experience.

  • Here’s what players can expect with Teamfight Tactics Revival: Dawn of Heroes

    • Revival Ladder – A new progression system where players can unlock new ranks and free rewards for both their skill and how they play TFT with the Revival game mode.

    • Updated Ceremony – The heroic Pengu will descend to your board and grant blessings to help you power up your units.

    • New Set Revival Augments – Since augments did not exist with the original set, Revival: Dawn of Heroes will also introduce traits and champion augments for the set such as:

      • The Monstrous Chopper – For the Abomination trait where the Monstrosity equips an ax to do additional cleave damage. The player will gain a Kalista and Nunu.

      • Death Approaches – Allows Thresh to now hook himself to the farthest enemy and do additional damage on his next attack reminiscent of his League of Legends gameplay.

  • Revival: Dawn of Heroes is the second set revival for Teamfight Tactics. Earlier this year, TFT launched Set 3.5 Revival: Galaxies to kick off set revivals and players embraced the modern take on another beloved mid-set update. During launch weekend, Revival: Galaxies made up half of almost all game hours.

  • Reckoning: Dawn of Heroes (Set 5.5) was the mid-set update for its fifth set, Teamfight Tactics: Reckoning, which launched in July 2021. The memorable update introduced mechanics that have become core parts of TFT including Radiant Items, Divine Blessing, and Tome of Traits.

  • Revival: Dawn of Heroes will be available with patch 14.19 (September 25, 2024) and the sun will set on Revival: Dawn of Heroes with patch 14.21 (November 4, 2024).

Quote from Christina Jiang, Senior Product Manager for Teamfight Tactics: “With Revival: Dawn of Heroes, we’re excited to see players travel back to an iconic moment in our game when these mechanics were once completely brand new but now have become an important part of what makes TFT so special and fun today.”

About Teamfight Tactics
