EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – November 8, 2021 – Mattel163, a mobile gaming joint venture between Mattel (NASDAQ: MAT) and NetEase (NASDAQ: NTES), this week released Skip-Bo to iOS and Android devices. It is Mattel163’s third title in the mobile card game space, and the next big hit from the company.

Over half a million players signed up in advance to play Skip-bo on the Google Play Store. In the first week of release, over 3 million games were played. This shows tremendous excitement and support from generations of Skip-bo fans, who have long waited for this classic board game on mobile, reimagined.

“We’re excited to be launching our third mobile game from Mattel163. Our team is great at working their magic on innovating classic board games into mobile-friendly hits. We’ve had tremendous success with UNO Mobile and Phase 10 Mobile. We’ve been growing our studio rapidly in the past three years, and working hard to bring more top-class digital entertainment to players around the world. We’ll be launching new titles from different genres in 2022, very excited about the future of Mattel163!” said Amy Huang, CEO of Mattel163.

Skip-Bo launched as a fully-featured mobile game with three different ways to play. Skip-Bo’s Adventure mode walks the player through 4 beautifully painted vistas with 200+ levels to solve. It takes Skip-Bo back to its solitaire roots and introduces new challenges for Skip-Bo experts and new players alike. Players can also hop into the online arena to play the classic Skip-Bo rules with people all over the world, or play offline to take it easy in a private match against the game.

Skip-Bo will be getting even better this holiday season. In December, invite your friends and family to play Skip-Bo just as if you were at the table together. Make new friends in the online arena, chat, and play!

Mattel163 first released UNO! Mobile in 2018 and it is now the #1 card game in 35 countries on iOS. UNO! Mobile won Best of 2020 on iOS and Best Casual Game on Samsung Galaxy Store in 2020. In 2021, UNO! Mobile hosted the UNO Championship Series: Mobile Tournament with nearly two million contestants from around the world and was crowned the world’s top UNO players.

The Phase 10: World Tour mobile game was released in 2019 and has quickly become a top 50 grossing mobile title. Phase 10 Mobile has won the hearts of many fans of the game with fun monthly events and innovative gameplay. Next year, Phase 10 will celebrate its 40th anniversary with celebrities, fun new events and prizes.
