Star Trek Online is celebrating First Contact Day on PC beginning today and as part of the celebrations, every player will receive a free Borg Pack.
Every Captain in Star Trek Online is about to be freely assimilated – uh, we mean, get a free Borg Pack! This pack will be available, once per account, in the Promotions Tab of the Zen Store for two weeks starting April 2nd on PC and April 9th on Xbox One and Playstation 4.
The pack includes following items:
– 4 Borg Lock Box Weapon Packs
– A Borg Bridge Officer
– A Small XP Boost
April 5, 2063 is a special day in Star Trek history, as it marks the first time humans made contact with the Vulcans. First made popular in the Star Trek: Voyager episode, “Homestead,” this treasured holiday is also commemorated by captains yearly in the free-to-play MMORPG, Star Trek Online. The game’s First Contact Day celebration takes place on PC from April 2-23 and on Xbox One and PlayStation®4 from April 9-30. During this time, players will participate in a brand new patrol, launch their very own Phoenix rocket and work their way towards the ultimate prize – a Temporal Vortex Probe.
