THE GAME
The Bolt Age is a 3d Cover Shooter game in the third person, with strategic notes through the use of
certain non-lethal weapons but with an influence on the mechanics. The player will enter a Steampunk world
invaded by horrible extra-dimensional creatures inspired by the creative worlds of H.P. Lovecraft.
STORY
Nikola Tesla accidentally discovers in a scientific experiment, a dimension replete with horrible ancestral
beings. Without proof to prove it, he begins to prepare the defense of the earth of a future invasion prophesied in
esoteric sources. At the same time, he sends his pupil, William Bolt, to train in the art of war, in order that him, with
the fabulous weapons developed by Tesla, will be the hero that will faces hordes of extra-dimensional beings.
GAMEPLAY
William Bolt must use different weapons to advance facing multiple monstrous enemies, also armed or
capable of emitting lethal energy or resisting and making brutal physical attacks. The inventory system does not
allow storing more than one type of weapon at the same time (melee – fist, light weapon, medium, heavy and
grenades). The player must choose which specific weapon of a type he wants to carry (in case of finding another one
in the scene), selecting them by the type of effect he has on the enemies that he is going to find.
FEATURES

– Levels; 4 levels (20 sub-levels). 13 locations.
– Progress of the game; Each level responds to the 4 main plots of the game, with different goals. To reach each
objective, you must go through different scenarios facing enemies. At the end of levels (and highlights) you will face
Heads of level. The ultimate goal is to activate the Wardenclyffe Tower to prevent the arrival of Cthulhu. At the
beginning and between each level there will be a kinematics to drive the story.

– Abilities; The player can cover himself to avoid damage, carry 4 weapons at the time, basic melee, run, overcome
obstacles and bearings.

– Production details; Development based on Opsive Third Person & Behavior Designer for the main mechanics (Unity
Engine). Given the volume of work required, the project is viable through the use of enough library Assets.
