As a follow up to Niantic’s partnership with the Global Goals initiative, Niantic today announced that an all-new free avatar item, the Global Goals t-shirt, will be added to Pokémon GO to support and spread awareness for the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development. Earlier this year at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Niantic announced that it would partner with Global Goals to add 17 PokéStops to Pokémon GO that would help shed light on the Global Goals initiative, whose mission is to end extreme poverty, inequality and climate change by 2030.
