This past Saturday, April 19, Virgin Gaming’s month-long NBA 2K14 King of the Court Challenge came to a close in an intense televised showdown between the two overall winners on MLG.tv.
The finalists, Semaj Riddick from Virginia and Tommy Zak from Wisconsin, competed head-to-head on the PlayStation 4, with Riddick playing as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Zak as the New York Knicks.
Riddick beat Zak in a “best 2 out of 3” format, winning two consecutive games 80-68, 84-72. Riddick was awarded $5,000 USD, a trip to the 2014 NBA Finals and a PlayStation 4 system NBA 2K14 bundle.
