Resident Evil 6
Hot
Since the previous iteration of the Resident Evil, the series has been seeking a breath of fresh air. While Resident Evil 5 certainly brought a different take on a decade old series with better visuals, solid storyline and a bit more expansion on what could always be considered a linear line of gameplay, it also brought a bit more action than people wanted. Resident Evil has never been a pure action series, rather it's been a genre of its own, survival horror. So the question begs, will Resident Evil 6 bring more of the same that RE5 brought? Or could Capcom mix it up a bit and revive the series a little, like it did with RE4? Come find out.

I don't think we're in Raccoon City anymore!? From Capcom comes the Games on Demand release of the survival horror classic that has been given the "high def" treatment this time around. And with enhanced graphics coupled with one of the best gameplay experiences of the last ten years, this serves as a great (and relatively cheap) way to welcome Halloween.

If you're a Wii owner and incidentally also a zombie-lover, you might be feeling a bit left out, what with all the other console-owners always killing zombies in style, while you're stuck with the likes of Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop. Well, don a smile, as there is light (er... dark?) at the end of the tunnel. Eurogamer got to speak with Capcom producer Kawata-san about the prospects of another RE title on Nintendo's systems, and here's what he had to say:
"Personally I would like to create something on Wii in the Resident Evil family," he revealed. "At the moment we don't know and have just been working on RE5, so watch this space."
