Real life is usually messier and less exciting than fiction, and this portrait of the famous Duchess of Devonshire supports that theory. Beautiful in many ways, The Duchess is an interesting, but not riveting, historical drama.

Supercomputer plots imminent destruction with Orwellian techniques—Mr. Everyman must come to the rescue in the nick of time. *scratches head* Has this been done before? Matthew Broderick, where are you?? Where’s the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey? Even sans remarkable score, it's a creepy concept.

Step-Brothers (Single-Disc Rated Edition)

The Washington Post called this film “eternally funny but subtly touching.” Frankly, I’m not sure what they were thinking. Obscene, distasteful, asinine and hilarious, sure, but touching? Don’t expect any hanky moments here!
