If you don’t know who Ernie Davis was, you should.  It’s particularly timely for this film to come out on Blu-ray the week of the presidential inauguration, because Ernie Davis was the first African American player to win college football’s Heisman Trophy.  He won it playing for Syracuse University, in the year that Syracuse won its first, and to date, only, national championship.

The star of the hit show 24, Kiefer Sutherland, had the lead role in a recent Fox horror film that was released on Blu-ray earlier this month entitled Mirrors. In Mirrors, Sutherland plays Ben Carson, a suspended police officer whose life is falling apart. As Carson tries to turn his life around, he and his family are haunted by an evil force that use mirrors to terrorize them.
