Dyna-MITE! Dyna-MITE! Oh, yeah.....
Sometimes it's difficult to decide what a movie is while you're watching it. Is the movie a sci-fi piece? Is it an action film? Is it a thriller? Could it possibly be a little bit of everything? If it is, it better be good.
It's been a weekend of Universal Soldier for me. One that started off decent, got really bad, and then ended on a surprisingly awesome note. I hadn't seen the original Universal Soldier, from 1992, in at least a decade. It's still a very "meh" action film at best, despite starring two of the biggest action stars of all time (Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren). Van Damme would reprise his role as Luc De...[Read More]
Recently, The History Channel ran a popular new WWII documentary known as WWII In HD. The team behind the documentary spent more than two years going around the globe to find and preserve footage from the war, much of it never seen before. I never turned 20 with such grace.
Prior to reviewing this, I had viewed the trailer before the movie even arrived at Sundance. It was an interesting concept of a man on the moon who finds himself out in the wastelands. No, really.... literally finds himself. Read on.
20th Century Fox and WWE Studios are back with another straight to video action film. This time it's The Marine 2, a sequel to Jon Cena's The Marine which came out in 2006. There is no connection between the two films other than the name, although they do share another commonality: neither are worth a purchase, but die hard action fans may want to give them a rent.
Chance of meatballs? %100 Chance of entertainment?
There certainly isn't much to hate about 10 Things I Hate About You: 10th Anniversary Edition, as it is as it was a decade ago. The biggest difference, of course, is having the move on blu-ray.
