The Other Boleyn Girl

I have three daughters, they can do what they want. They will never marry a king, though.

Cloverfield

Not only did this scare the crap out of me on DVD, but it doubly does on Blu-ray. You have been warned.

Next

This had some great potential. It really did, and it's a shame because I think the writers wrote themselves into a corner. You hate to see when that happens.

The Longest Day

This is probably the greatest war movie ever made. Now it's on Blu-ray. What does that tell you?

Battle of Britain

I know the airforce from any country, especially Israel's -- which didn't make an appearance in this film, is important. I know this is true.But...

Semi-Pro

First Blades of Glory, now Semi-Pro. The question in my mind is, "Do you think Will Ferrell is ever going to get burned out on comedy?" He's literally spitting a comedy out, what seems like, every two-hours. The scary part? They're still funny.

Patton

In the history of American warfare, there has been only one man who has truly defined the word 'commander'. His name is Patton.

A Bridge Too Far

I have never, in my movie viewing life (which spans from 1978 up to recent), seen this many future stars (or stars) in one movie. This movie is loaded!

Blades of Glory

My lord, what won't Will Ferrell do these days? What's even more shocking is what won't he turn into perfect comedy? You could put this guy in almost any situation, like walking through a park and by the time he came out it would be funny as hell. Amazing.

V for Vendetta

Never say that I didn't like a Wachowski Brother's written film. Of course, you could say that, but I really liked V for Vendetta.

Twister

Back in the late 90's the world of movies decided that it wanted to return to disaster films. So, you have movies like The Perfect Storm, Independence Day and this one... Twister.I've been waiting years to do this review.

Space Ace and Dragon’s Lair

There's nothing quite like seeing an old game get an update. How do you update an arcade game though without changing the central theme, and still make it worth your while in this day and age? You have to ask Digital Leisure how they did this with Space Ace and Dragon's Lair, now both on Blu-ray.
