Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

Spidey is back in an all new single player beat'em up from the devs at Shaba Games and Treyarch. New York is under threat from a massive Symbiote outbreak and it's up to Spider-Man and his Allies to save the city. In doing so, players will get to determine if Spider-Man stays good or succumbs to the dark whispers of the Symbiote.

Fallout 3

Spawned from a classic series by the same name, Fallout 3 emerges from the studios of Bethesda Softworks and onto next generation consoles.  Fans of the series have been half-hearted about its release.  They have been suspect about if the game keeps the heart and soul of the series intact.  They have been anxiously awaiting its release (which was on October 28th) to see what has become of the seri...[Read More]

LittleBigPlanet

Sony's trade show darling finally arrives.  Is it worth the hype?  You better believe it.

Eternal Sonata

One of the most revered RPGs of this generation finally comes to the PS3 with new content in the form of additional quests, music, and characters. I missed the game the first time it came around on the Xbox 360 last year, but I'm sure glad that Namco Bandai Games decided to release Eternal Sonata on the PS3, giving PS3 owners the chance to play this rather charming RPG.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles

Rockstar Games has quite a portfolio of work but we haven't heard from one of their long time franchises in this gen until now. The Midnight Club series, known for it's free roaming, urban underground racing prowess, makes its first appearance on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in the form of Midnight Club LA. Overall, it's a very solid title, but some drawbacks keep it from being an absolute must-have.

NBA 2K9

I had a great time with two friends last year as we played through our NBA 2K8 season over the course of several months. We've been looking forward to NBA 2K9 since, and now it's finally here, and our new season has begun. The best game for NBA simulation continues to improve upon itself and this year is no exception.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars

The PSN has become home to many clever downloadable titles, and one of the latest offerings is by Psyonix and it's called Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (SARPRC). It's fun to say fast three times, but is it worth $14.99? How fun is it? Well, let's get to the review.

Linger In Shadows

Linger In Shadows is not a game, it's interactive art; keep that in mind should you decide to purchase it, and you might enjoy it. The experience is exceedingly short and really has no direction, but if you're looking for something different, this may be worth the purchase, but do read on first...

NBA 09 The Inside

It's not a secret that the SCEA version of an NBA game has struggled with critics for years.  Each year the team at SCEA seems to get a bit closer to something great, but sometimes just ends up being shorter than the competition.  People might have accused the dev team of being a bit short on flash or short on accuracy, but I'm not sure that's where they are shooting for.  As I have been playing t...[Read More]

wipEout HD

Futuristic racing has seen many forms, but few as popular as the Wipeout series Sony first presented on the original Playstation in 1995. Since then, several sequels have been released, most recently on the PSP in the form of Wipeout Pure and Wipeout Pulse. Now, SCE Studios Liverpool combines the ships, tracks, and music of the two PSP hits with a little HD zazz to bring us WipeoutHD for the PS3 v...[Read More]

Armored Core For Answer

I've always respected the Armored Core series. It has never disappointed, but there are times it certainly has been a bit less than expected.  When the series made its way to the Playstation 2 platform, it lacked a punch.  I'm not sure how to describe it, but all the elements were there, but it never pushed through the barrier of extraordinary.Fast-forward to September 16th, 2008 and you have Ubis...[Read More]

Buzz! Quiz TV – Bundle

There's nothing quite like a good family trivia game.  These types of games are so sparse in the videogame world, and generally they're done extremely poorly.  The one that comes to mind that was even remotely entertaining was one called Twisted, which existed on the 3DO platform (some of you may not remember it, so here's a link for you to the Classic Gaming website). So pardon my skepticism when...[Read More]
