Shatter

Earlier this week I posted a Q&A with Mario Wynands of Sidhe Interactive, makers of PSN's newest smash hit, Shatter. Shatter is a very clever title in the vein of Breakout; it's essentially a 'breaking' game whereby players use orbs or balls to smash various objects. Quick reflexes, strategy, and even an ounce of luck are the staples in this genre. With Shatter, Sidhe puts a new spin on the ga...[Read More]

Ghostbusters: The Video Game

Having been lucky enough to be born in the 70s, I had a great opportunity to experience the 80s at its finest. I remember going to all the Star Wars (even the first -- I was young) and I especially remember going to see Ghostbusters when it first hit the theatrical scene; we won't talk about the sequel in any shape or fashion. Let's forget the second part even happened. Anyway, the movie was huge!...[Read More]

The Punisher: No Mercy

Frank Castle is a vigilante who kidnaps, extorts, tortures, kills, maims, and blows up bad guys instead of just capturing them. Frank is the judge, the jury and the executioner, on a war against the criminal underbelly that killed his family. A veteran, a special ops master of martial arts, and a master of weaponry; Frank Castle is the Punisher.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Luxoflux and Activision bring us the game based on the new Michael Bay film where the Autobots and Decepticons are battling once again, with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance. It's a quick ride, but how does the new Transformers game fare?

Overlord II

As amusing and interesting as it seemed, and apparently was, I never got around to playing the first Overlord title that came out a couple of years back by Triumph Studios and Codemasters. Several of my gaming friends had played it though, and now with Overlord II in for review, I was able to talk shop with them about this new entry into the series. We've come to agree that Overlord II features mo...[Read More]

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Last time around Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix came up short, severely. It lacked power, interest and to a larger extent effort from its developers.  So the question is, could the Half-Blood prince do more or simply do the same thing as the previous? Let's find out.

Guitar Hero – Smash Hits

Do you love Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, and Guitar Hero Encore: Rock The 80s?  Of course you do. Why wouldn't you? These games freaking rock! Activision has stepped up their A game to bring you the best of the best, with an added twist. Curious to know more? Read on!

Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires

An attempt to blend strategy and action, Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires tries to inject new life into this aging series. This time around, it seems someone may have forgotten that you're supposed to at least try to innovate in sequels. Instead of making at least a little progress, the newest installment falls right on its rear.

Prototype

Radical Entertainment and Activision have teamed up to release Prototype to the masses. Let's get to the review!

Cellfactor: Psychokinetic Wars

CellFactor®: Psychokinetic Wars is a fast-paced first-person multiplayer shooter where you choose your side in the battle of technology vs. humanity. Manipulate your environment and kill your enemies with your choice of gunfire and/or telekinetic superpowers. Use your mind to rip objects from the environment and smash them in any direction or use your powers to create a bullet-proof energy shield....[Read More]

InFamous

“It’s grueling, man,” is my typical response when someone asks what it’s like to review games all the time. PR prefers coverage to appear as soon as possible, and the editorial staff here at Digital Chumps generally agrees that reviews should be posted no more than a week after a product is received. This typically translates to angry friends or significant others whom can&...[Read More]

UFC 2009 Undisputed

UFC 2009 Undisputed isn't the first UFC game, but it's the first one in several years.
