The Incredible Hulk

A few years ago, I reviewed The Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for the original Xbox. It was a very good game, giving Hulk fans the ability to execute all sorts of powerful moves and combos and destroy tons of stuff across desert and urban environments. With the release of The Incredible Hulk in theaters, their was no doubt that there would be a video game to go along with it. Typically, movie based g...[Read More]

Enemy Territory – Quake Wars

Last year, iD released a new Quake game for the PC in the form of Enemy Territory – Quake Wars. This multiplayer focused Quake offering in the spirit of the Battlefield games (two sides, complete with Classes), received some pretty solid review scores and now, about eight months later, the journey to the Xbox 360 and PS3 is complete. Is this conversion what console fans have been waiting for? Well...[Read More]

Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 (PSN/XBLA)

In 1985, Capcom released Commando, followed sometime later by a sequel known as Mercs. Both of these old school games featured Rambo like characters that were likely inspired by Hollywood figures of time, and both games led players through short, but satisfying all out blastfests. Recently, Capcom released Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 for consumption on the PSN and XBLA. For $10, you can c...[Read More]

Lost Planet – Extreme Condition

It's been about a year and a half since the Xbox 360 saw the release of Lost Planet - Extreme Condition from Capcom. The acclaimed third person action title had a sound campaign despite a confusing story, but the life of Lost Planet was greatly extended by its addictive online play. Now, Capcom has put together a version 1.5, if you will, of Lost Planet in the form of Lost Planet - Colonies Editio...[Read More]

Culdcept Saga

At last year's E3, I spent a lot more time enjoying Culdcept Saga than I really ever thought I would. It just didn't look like my kind of game, and with the exception of Eye of Judgment, I had never played any kind of game like it before. While I'm not hooked on the idea, and while the game does have its fair share of drawbacks, I was overall pleasantly surprised with Culdcept Saga.

TimeShift

TimeShift is a pretty standard first-person shooter with some equally common futuristic and science fiction aspects. As such, the game requires a gimmick to maintain some semblance of creativity, and it delivers appropriately by allowing users to temporarily slow, stop, and reverse time. This gimmick aside, though, TimeShift is just another unremarkable and mediocre contender in the satiated first...[Read More]

Crash of the Titans

Crash Bandicoot first came to the Playstation in a time when I was still solely a PC gamer. Since coming back to consoles in force several years ago, I have yet to go back and play through those old Crash games, although I do have a fair interest in doing so. When Crash of the Titans, the first Crash adventure on the Xbox 360 came in for review, I was fairly excited. It looked like a fun, simple, ...[Read More]

Spider-man: Friend or Foe

Spider-Man video game fans haven’t had a lot to be excited about this year. Frankly, the Spider-Man 3 movie game was a flop, and try as we might, myself and most other gamers couldn’t’ find enough good about it to keep playing after the first few hours. Now, just ahead of the film’s release on DVD and Blu-ray, we have the new, albeit kid-focused, adventure entitled Spider-Man Friend Or Foe. I rece...[Read More]

Sega Rally Revo

Sega Rally Revo brings arcade rally racing to the Xbox 360. Fast and intense racing around some nice looking tracks develops a nice racing experience.

NHL 2K8

It has been six months since the last time this editor has reviewed a title, please forgive me if I’m a bit rusty.

Bioshock

Andrew Ryan dreamed of a city of ideals, a city safe from the meddling of government and religion, a city for artists and thinkers. A staunch capitalist idealist, Ryan built Rapture at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean and brought many of the brightest people of the world to this new way of life, where they would live free from the effect of “parasites” who drag them down from their true potential.
