Tom Clancy's HAWX series is setting up for its second attack run this week with the release of HAWX 2. Players are once again tasked with flying the latest and greatest planes to save the world in a typical near-future, Tom Clancy world. HAWX 2 is largely the same game as the original with a few changes, both good and bad, to result in what is ultimately a good, but not great, game.

Zombie Studios and Ignition Entertainment have teamed up to release Blacklight: Tango Down, a $15 FPS shooter intended for online multiplayer. This budget-priced title, available now on Xbox Live and PC (and eventually PSN), is powered by the Unreal engine and may prove to be an interesting distraction for online FPS gamers looking for some fresh IP.

EA Sports has stepped up their game in the last year. They’ve produced the best soccer game with FIFA Soccer 10. They redefined Madden NFL with new graphics and better contact. Hell, they made me interested in hockey for the first time with their NHL 10 release. They’ve performed and delivered so well that one would think they should be checked for performance enhancing drugs.
