Call of Duty Black Ops 2: Vengeance

The second half of Black Ops 2 DLC has arrived!  Vengeance seems to have a centralized theme: up close and personal.  The quad set of multiplayer maps and an "underground" zombies foray are all restricted in terms of available foot path.  The result?  Tight proximity that will test the limits of your reflexes and quick draw accuracy.  Will this third download also be a charm?

Call of Duty: Ghosts — the details; or what we know so far

Like it or hate it, Call of Duty has been one of the biggest selling franchises in recent history. Year in and year out, it has financially thrived, making millions, if not billions, and delivered solid gameplay from release-to-release. One question that has plagued it over the years is 'how in the world could they top last year's?', which is more than a valid question. There were concerns between...[Read More]

The Last of Us – Impressions (Preview)

When Naughty Dog barks, you listen. That is of course assuming you're interested in AAA quality videogames. The developer's latest is due out in about a month, exclusively for the PS3. We received a surprise voucher code for a Media Beta Demo, showcasing one full scene and part of another scene. I took some notes while playing through both, and am sharing my thoughts here.

Insomniac Games and EA ready to light the Fuse at the end of May

Sometimes things go as planned. Sometimes things don't go as planned. Sometimes things take on a life of their own and reshape the original plan. The latter is what happened with Insomniac's co-op driven action title Fuse.

SI.com’s Extra Mustard folks detail their top 10 LucasArts games.

While I can't agree with the list totally, I think it's solid. I do respect them for including Maniac Mansion in the list, as most people don't even know what the hell that game is, but I can't forgive them for missing The Secret of Monkey Island (or even Full Throttle). Anyway, check out their official list here, and here is my personal list in order of favorites.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2: Uprising

Flap Jaw Space: The DigitalChumps Podcast [Episode 50]

Flap Jaw Space: The DigitalChumps Podcast [Episode 49]

The most important thing about this episode is not the content we discuss, but the dietary supplements we ingest. For some reason, we're still making podcasts, and we're almost to Episode 50. That in itself is a feat of pure majesty. This time, we're dabbling in Mass Effect 3, Journey, and a few dumb Android platform games. More important, we extract knowledge from the Steve-brain as per usual, an...[Read More]

Flap Jaw Space: The DigitalChumps Podcast [Episode 48]

As the battle for the GOTY Ladder wages on, we invite good pal and fellow idiot Nick Bishop back into the fray to talk a little Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. In addition, we bring Ziggaraut, Syndicate, and Alan Wake's American Nightmare to the table. Much to our surprise, an American Nightmare does not entail a home foreclosure or steadily increasing rates of unemployment. The PlayStation Vita is...[Read More]
