Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion

The second half of Ghosts' DLC season is underway!  The 3rd quarter is offered to the Xbox crowd first with Invasion.  This $15 standalone purchase, or "free" for season pass holders, offers three brand new multiplayer maps with a port of a timeless fan favorite, plus another puzzle piece to the on-going Extinction saga.

Titanfall: Expedition

Hold tight, reinforcements are on the way!  EA and Respawn Entertainment are dropping the first set of DLC content for Titanfall.  Expedition includes three new maps that support all of the current game modes found in the Multiplayer playlist.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation

It's time to go in again with Call of Duty DLC!  As a stand alone addition, or unlocked with a Ghosts season pass, Devastation brings us the same package format as Onslaught: four adversarial maps, a new weapon, and a fresh Extinction chapter.

Constant C Hands On Impressions

Constant C, a puzzle-platformer originally developed for Android, is coming the Xbox 360 and Steam before the end of the month. I've spent several hours with a build that is close to the final Xbox 360 code, and I've got some impressions to share.

Titanfall Beta Impressions

While the Playstation 4 and Xbox One were released in November of last year, the next generation starts in earnest this March.  Titanfall, developed by Respawn Entertainment with EA as the publisher, is set to drop on the One and PC March 11 with a port to the 360 from Bluepoint Games arriving March 25.  EA was kind enough to afford us a closed beta code early so I could experience this crazy hype...[Read More]

KingsRoad Impressions

When you think of browser-based gaming, you think of simple, casual flash games that will entertain you as you’re waiting for the next bus or possibly the professor in class to stop chattering. You never really see it more than a quick-hitting casual experience. In hindsight, why should it be more than that? The financial risk of a large development team putting together something more than a Cand...[Read More]

Alpha Code Impressions of Divinity: Original Sin

Larian Studios' Divinity series continues with Divinity: Original Sin (DOS), currently in Alpha and an Early Access title on Steam. I've had a chance to play some of the latest Alpha build and if you're into western RPGs with lots of dialogue, exploration, and smooth turn-based combat, DOS may be right for you.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught

This winter, prepare for an Onslaught!  Activision, Infinity Ward, and Neversoft have officially kicked off the CoD: Ghosts DLC season, and a season pass or $14.99 on Xbox LIVE grants access to four fresh multiplayer maps, (technically) two new guns, and the opening act to an Extinction "series."

Call of Duty Black Ops 2: Apocalypse

This is THE END! Aptly named Apocalypse is the fourth and final installment of DLC for Black Ops 2 available on Xbox LIVE for $15 or free for Season Pass holders. Multiplayer maps Pod, Frost, Takeoff, and Dig are bundled with the newest Zombie battleground Origins to cap things off in fun, exhilarating, and dramatic fashion.

Guardians of Middle-earth heading to PC next week – what to expect

I cannot begin to describe to you my love this particular game (although, there is a review on the site explaining how much I enjoyed it). It was one of those games that came out of left field. On the outside, it looked as if Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and Monolith were playing off of the excited Lord of the Rings fans, but inside of Guardians of Middle-earth was something much deep...[Read More]

Call of Duty: Ghosts Global Multiplayer Reveal Impressions

Activision was gracious enough to fly me out to the city of angels to witness another kind of supernatural phenomenon: ghosts.  Call of Duty: Ghosts, to be exact.  This past Wednesday, the world got to see the entertainment software heavyweight pull the proverbial tarpaulin back on Infinity Ward's newest project that promises to take the CoD brand in a new direction, while still holding true to th...[Read More]

HAWKEN to get upgrades/improvements by the end of August

Launched in December 2012, HAWKEN puts you in the cockpit of a large machine and pits you against other online folks. It's a pretty simplistic game once you get into it. It took me all of 15 minutes to actually pick it up and go, and I am a simple-minded reviewer. In other words, if you're new to the title then you won't have any issues with learning what to do during battle, the best strategies t...[Read More]
