Two million Street Fighter fans can’t be wrong

In the latest news from Capcom, it looks as if two million Street Fighter IV games have been shipped worldwide.  Not bad considering the franchise was pretty much born in 1989 (I know, I know -- There was Street Fighter before the sequel, but was it really as popular?). Anyway, Capcom's PR folk had this to say:

How to Lose Friends and Alienate People

Probably an accurate telling of the industry.

The Haunting of Molly Hartley

This was suppose to be a horror movie, right?  Just checking.

The French Connection

I do believe that if I was having a drug problem in my city, Jimmy "Popeye" Doyle would be the first person I would call.

Forbidden Hollywood Collection Volume Three: William Wellman at Warner Bros. coming to DVD in March

I respect classics, but I can only imagine this set showing off taboo things such as:  a. Short, knee-length skirts b. Shoulders.  c. Girdles In all seriousness, TCM releases some of the better movie classics out there.  Classics that probably deserve your time and attention. Here are the details:

Tom and Jerry’s Greatest Chases Volume 2

Before the world of 'everybody wins', there was one definitive loser: Tom. Warner Brothers is releasing the second volume of the Tom and Jerry Greatest Chases series.  If you're a fan of the show or you want to prove to your kids that sometimes cartoons just don't have morals, this is right up your alley.  Damn you Children's Television Act. Damn you.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua and Air Bud

Come see what my kids have been yapping about for nearly three months.  They love their dogs, and if you love dog movies that feature talking, you'll probably really love this.

Igor

A mad experiment that nearly went right.  That's the perfect way to describe Igor.

Some Watchmen footage hits the net!

The Sun is reporting online some new footage for The Watchmen and actually includes a good scene for your viewing pleasure.  Please enjoy.

Dr. Strangelove announced for Blu-ray

If only Kubrick and Slim Pickens were alive today to see this announcement.  Of course, Kubrick probably would ask for 10-20 revisions before it was released. Pickens would just simply be happy. Here are the details to the announcement (after the trailer, of course).

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Double Pack

So what's better than just owning Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa? Owning that and The Penguins of Madagascar in a Double DVD Pack!  I'm sorry, the Penguins are hilarious.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

The first one was a good test.  It was a test to say, "Hey! We can do more than Shrek!" The second one was a step beyond the shout. It was literally a 'roar!'
