Serenity
Just a few weeks ago, fans of the cult hit sci-fi TV show Firefly were treated to a nice three disc set that we reviewed here and thoroughly enjoyed. Now, the theatrical film based on the same universe established in Firefly comes to Blu-ray. In 2001, Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman starred in one of the best military action movies theaters have seen in the better part of a decade. In 2006, a sequel, by name only, was released to video and frankly wasn't nearly as good as the original.
