EA and Full Circle revealed new details for skate. Update 0.32.5, launching on October 13. The update introduces Parry Point Skatepark in Hedgemont, Proximity Chat test, Part 2 of “Have You Seen Him?” Missions, and more.
Parry Point Skatepark is a new street-style skatepark inspired by real-life locations, which players have been asking more of. Featuring rails, ocean views and space for Spot Battles and Skate Jams, Parry Point offers a new place for players to skate, create and connect.
The S.U.M.R. Camp Mega Park revealed earlier this month in update 0.32, is now available for all players. Skaters can hit the massive mountain built for big air, big speed and vertical exploration without the skate.Premium Pass using a 24-hour Day Pass for 500 Rip Chips.
Update 0.32.5 also brings new missions and the conclusion of the search for missing City Councilor Slappy. Players can jump into Part 2 of the “Have You Seen Him?” event at S.U.M.R. Camp, with new activities rolling out across the following three weeks. The update also includes world improvements, refined No Comply tricks and 19 new tracks added to the San Van playlist.
In addition to new gameplay activities, players can take part in a limited-time, technical test of the all-new Proximity Voice Chat system on the Isle of Grom from October 21 – November 3. This highly requested feature will bring real-time, position-based voice comms straight to each session, allowing nearby players to communicate while they skate together. As this is an early technical test, player feedback will help the team continue to refine the experience.
