LOS ANGELES – Palia is abuzz with new updates! To end Palia’s Sunkissed Summer series of content updates, Palia’s Sunkissed Summer: Beauty and the Beach update has arrived, bringing enchanted gardens, shimmering skies and happily ever afters to the fantasy world of Palia. The update continues the summer fun with the Great Shimmerfly Migration, the new “Duo Dance” partnered dancing feature, the return of the Insect-a-Palooza and much more.
The Beauty and the Beach update adds even more whimsy to Palia with the fairytale-inspired Lunar Path: Path of the Briar, blooming with whimsical decor, enchanting cosmetics, and storybook beauty. Additionally, Palians will find even more summer fun with the new Bulletin Board quest where they can help Auni prove that Kilima has the best Bug Scouts around, just in time for Insect-a-Palooza. Keep Eyes on the Skies for the Great Shimmerfly Migration – The annual Great Shimmerfly Migration has arrived in Palia, and for a limited time, players can find Star Quality Shimmerflies to decorate their housing plots, with the possibility of getting a Shimmerfly Plush.

Uncover Storybook Treasures Along the Lunar Path: Path of the Briar – Let your fairytale flourish in the newest Lunar Path. Update your character with new storybook cosmetics, and unlock special items like the Umbral Wings potion, which briefly offers the player Shadow Wings, or the Alchemists’ Googles, which give players a Grimalkin-themed view, and much more!

Get Ready to Duo Dance! – For the first time ever, Palians can share the dance floor with a partner with the Duo Dance emote “Heart of Gold” (Song by Steffen Schmidt & Amanda Achen). Players have their own unique role featuring choreography from real-life professional dancers. If one dancer wears the full Briar’s Grace outfit and the other wears the full Bestial Formality outfit, players will unlock the song’s beautiful vocal performance.

Calling All Bug Scouts to the Bulletin Board – Auni is on a mission to prove Kilima has the best bug scouts around! Players can help Auni by catching Shimmerflies, gathering flowers, preparing bug-catching snacks, and helping with farm chores. Completing the bulletin board gives the player the recipe for a Shimmerfly Garden.

Insect-a-Palooza Returns – With the Great Shimmerfly Migration in full swing, there’s never been a better time to load up on bug bombs and chase down some of Palia’s cutest critters. From August 17 to August 24, players can work together to catch insects to unlock special rewards.

Welcome the Flutterfox – Unlock Flutterhoney at Ranching Level 10 in the Amber Echo Store to get the wild Flutterfoxes to join your ranch. Flutterfoxes produce Silky Fluff, an alternative to Silk Thread.

The Phoenixfire Riffroc Gallops to Palia – These fiery feather friends are incredibly rare in the wild, but dedicated ranchers may discover a way to get them. The Phoenixfire Riffroc produces a variety of grilled foods fresh from the flames. Additionally, the “Open-Minded” trait is now available for both Riffrocs and Phoenixfire Dawnspurs.

New Decor and New Pride Tints – Looking to change it up? The “Mane Character Energy” Art has officially arrived, adding enchanting new decor. Additionally, new tints to help you celebrate Pride year-round are available and can be acquired at Tish’s shop.

New Plushes – New Plushes have been added, including the Royal Frogbert, Shimmerfly Plush, and Princess Ladybug. The Royal Frogbert is available through the Lunar Path: Path of the Briar, with the Shimmerfly and Princess Ladybug plushes found as rare drops from catching their respective bugs.

Stay Connected with the Friend List Upgrade – Stay connected with more friends than ever with the new update, allowing up to 250 people on each player’s Friends List.

New Premium Store Updates – Several new outfits are available via the Premium Store, including the Briars Grace Azure and Bestial Formality Royal. Additionally, new pets and ranch animals, including the Featherdusting Flutterfox and the Phoenixfire Riffroc, are available for purchase. A special Shimmerfly Tool Skin has also been added alongside a unique Shimmering Bubble Glider

Improvements and Adjustments – The Temple of Gale is easier to navigate with the addition of new quest markers, streamlined objectives, reduced progression requirements and bug fixes. The changes will not impact those who have already completed it.
