Immense Eternatus Adventure Effect lands in Pokémon GO: Dark Skies

Sounds like a George Miller character in a new Mad Max film. Anyway, enjoy the offical details below.

A new Adventure Effect is coming to Pokémon GO during GO Fest 2025’s upcoming event, Dark Skies.

Eternatus, the Gigantic Pokémon, can use the Charged Attack Dynamax Cannon, which temporarily boosts Trainers’ Max Moves by one level for 10 minutes when used outside of battle. Notably, this boost can upgrade Level 3 Max Moves into Level 4, surpassing the previous limit and granting an even bigger surge of power to the supersized attacks.

Trainers can encounter and catch Eternatus with this Charged Attack by progressing through the GO Pass: Max Finale, which will be available for free to all Trainers above level 13 starting August 18.

Adventure Effects are temporary bonuses activated by powerful Pokémon attacks that may be used outside of battle. Trainers can activate Dynamax Cannon’s Adventure Effect by using 5,000 Stardust and 30 Eternatus Candy, and can extend the initial 10-minute time by using additional Stardust and Eternatus Candy.

Pokémon GO: Dark Skies is part of the lead-up to the Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale, starting August 23. Max Finale will include every Gigantamax Pokémon currently available in Pokémon GO and feature more chances to take on Eternatus alongside Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta.
