Today, Amazon Luna announced a new Guest Mode feature, which leverages Cloud Direct technology to enable local multiplayer with Luna Controller or the phone controller available in the Luna Controller app.
To get started, customers hosting a game session can launch their Luna Controller app and find the Guest Mode feature by accessing the menu in the upper left corner of the app. From there, they’ll be able to share a 6-digit group code with their guests, who simply press “Join Guest Mode Group” on either their Luna Controller or their Luna Phone Controller and enter the code when prompted. Let the games begin!
With Amazon Luna, customers can enjoy their favorite games on devices they already own, including Fire TV, Fire tablets, Windows PCs, Chromebook, Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android phones. Luna offers a variety of channels to choose from – including the Luna+, Ubisoft+ Family, Jackbox Games and Retro channels – bringing great content from multiple genres so there is always something interesting to play for all types of gamers. In addition, Amazon Prime members can access a rotating selection of games for free on the dedicated Prime Gaming Channel.
