Helsinki – May 23, 2022 – Hay Day is turning TEN! It is Supercell’s very first game to launch globally and this popular farming game has been downloaded more than 660 million times! To commemorate this milestone, Hay Day is throwing a month-long Birthday Fair in the game, from May 21st up until Hay Day’s actual birthday on June 21, 2022.
At the Birthday Fair, a time capsule will be dug up containing mystery items that will be revealed through fun in-game events and giveaways. These events come with great rewards, decorations, and even a chance for Hay Day farmers to help real-life farmers create healthy soil to grow healthy food. Through a donation to the Rodale Institute from Hay Day, real life farmers will go through training to learn regenerative farming practices.
“In Hay Day, we’re all farmers, so we thought there was no better way to celebrate our 10th birthday than to give back to real-life farmers via the Rodale Institute’s Regenerative Farming practice,” said Agnes Liou, Marketing Lead at Supercell. “Regenerative farming is a complex process, but to put it simply, it helps create healthier soil, which grows healthier food, which makes healthier people. So not only will players be able to have a jam-packed month of fun activities at the Hay Day Birthday Fair, but they’ll also be benefiting an amazing real-world cause with every delivery they make in-game.”
On top of the many birthday events, a summer update is coming soon! It brings Mango Trees that grow Mangoes to make refreshing Mango Juice in the Juice Press and yummy Mango Fondue in the Fondue Pot. A Yogurt Maker will also be making its way to our farms, and it will make a variety of different yogurts.
