STOCKHOLM – Feb. 24, 2022 – Following last year’s release of the Ozo Lounge social hub in the studio’s futuristic PvP dueling game Blaston, Resolution Games has opened the doors to an all-new shared social experience inside its hit co-operative dungeon crawler, Demeo. Starting today Demeo players can come together in ‘Heroes’ Hangout’ (trailer), a new area to find friends and socialize with other adventure-ready players in the community.
Responsible for best-selling multiplayer VR titles that include Blaston, Cook-Out: A Sandwich Tale, and Acron: Attack of the Squirrels, Resolution Games has paved the way for gamers to interact socially and bond over shared interests by pioneering new ways to play together in virtual worlds. In Heroes’ Hangout, players can meet and form a party to explore Demeo’s growing list of adventures together — or they can engage in any number of social activities as they immerse themselves deeper into the world of Demeo and make new friends.

Players looking to “Demeo and chill” will find plenty of new activities awaiting in Heroes’ Hangout, whether it’s improving their archery skills in the ‘Hunter’s Challenge’ mini-game or taking photos with friends that they can upload directly to Discord. Heroes’ Hangout also features the all new retro-inspired game-within-a-game arcade experience ‘Demeo: The Hauntlet,’ created by DOOM co-creator, Heroes’ Hangout design lead, and Senior Creative Director at Resolution Games, Tom Hall.
“Hanging out in arcades, playing games or watching friends try to make it to the next level — that was a defining gaming experience for me back in the ’80s,” said Hall. “Getting a chance to recreate that exciting experience in VR was an absolute blast. It feels very natural grabbing the joystick and going into ‘Arcade Mode.’ You almost forget you’re in VR! It feels just ‘right,’ and no quarters needed!”
