Los Angeles, CA – November 9, 2021 – Today Riot Forge announced that Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story™, a new rhythm runner developed by Choice Provisions, creators of the BIT.TRIP series will launch on Nintendo Switch™, PC via Steam®, GOG.com and the Epic Games Store on November 16, 2021, and on Netflix soon.
Set in the League of Legends universe, Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story™ is a rhythm runner featuring Ziggs, the unforgettable yordle and Hexplosives extraordinaire. Players must perform bomb-jumps and bomb-attacks to the beat of a toe-tapping soundtrack, to avoid obstacles, disarm enemies, and light fuses for satisfying and explosive chain reactions to achieve maximum mayhem.
Throughout the game, players will cause mischief in the various neighborhoods of Piltover while evading the noted “no-fun-allowed” scientist Heimerdinger, in Ziggs’ chaotic quest to build the greatest bomb that Runeterra has ever seen!
Additional details about the game will be revealed on November 16, 2021 at 8:00 AM PDT during a Riot Forge video showcase. Tune-in information will be provided ahead of this event.
Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story is available for pre-order on Nintendo Switch™ and PC, via Steam®, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders on these storefronts will receive an exclusive Ruined Ziggs Skin to use in the game. Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story will also be available soon via the Netflix mobile app – included with your Netflix membership with no extra fees or in-app purchases.
Riot Forge will also have new details to share about Ruined King: A League of Legends Story in the upcoming weeks. Developed by Airship Syndicate, this single-player and immersive turn-based RPG invites new players to the LoL universe as well as players entrenched in the lore to enjoy exploring its mysteries.
