Games Done Quick — all-women speedrunning event Flame Fatales is set and scheduled

July 15, 2021 – Games Done Quick has released the full schedule for Flame Fatales, an all-women summer speedrunning event organized by its Frame Fatales community. The weeklong event will run August 15-21, and will be broadcast on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel.

The event will feature speedruns and gameplay showcases across a wide variety of genres, including:

– A 15-card run of Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories by Skybilz
– A Warframe speedrun by KrusKader
– An expert run of Tetris Effect Connected by Kirby703

Fans of tough-as-nails platformers should also mark their calendars for Fell’s run of Quickie Mountain 2 (an ultra-hard mod of Celeste) as well as euni and Frozenflygone’s no-out-of-bounds race of VVVVVV.

Flame Fatales 2021 will be held in support of Malala Fund, an non-profit that works to secure free, safe, and quality education for girls around the world. In 2020, Flame Fatales raised over $80,000 for the charity.
