On Tuesday, Humble Bundle hosted its first-ever Giving Tuesday stream to showcase video games and raise funds for the GameChanger Charity, a global non-profit enterprise providing aid and relief for young people battling life-threatening illnesses, as well as their families and caregivers.
During the stream, a number of Humble games were featured including Project Wingman, which launched for PC on Tuesday, December 1 and Wildfire, which launched for consoles today, December 3. Other featured games included: Prodeus, Ikenfell, Ring of Pain, One Step from Eden, Popup Dungeon, and A Hat In Time. More details on each game follow below.
Project Wingman – Project Wingman is a flight action game that lets players take the seat of advanced fighter jets and become a true ace. Players can fight in various missions and game modes ranging from intense aerial dogfights to large scale ground assault in an alternate scorched earth setting.
Wildfire – Wildfire is a 2D stealth platformer where players will be placed in a world where magic has all but died out. Having been branded a witch by villainous forces who fear elemental powers, players must use their elemental magic to start fires, freeze water, and move earth to outsmart the superstitious armies of the Arch Duchess as they pursue through lush forests, deep caverns, and over frozen mountaintops.
Prodeus – Prodeus is the first person shooter of old, re-imagined using modern rendering techniques. It reaches the quality you expect from a AAA experience while adhering to some of the aesthetic technical limits of older hardware. The game features a hand-crafted campaign from industry FPS veterans, a fully-integrated level editor, and a built-in community map browser for instantaneous action with nearly limitless levels to play.
One Step from Eden – One Step from Eden combines strategic deck-building and real-time action with rogue-like elements, giving players the chance to carve a path of mercy or destruction. Fight alone or with a friend in local co-op to cast powerful spells on the fly, battle evolving enemies, and collect game-changing artifacts.
Popup Dungeon – Popup Dungeon is a papercraft RPG where the only limit is the player’s imagination. Create any weapon, ability, enemy, hero, and game imaginable as you work to complete the Wizard’s challenge
Ring of Pain – Ring of Pain is a loot driven roguelike dungeon crawler like Binding of Isaac, set in a world distorted by your mind. A cryptic world of fear and delusion.
Ikenfell – Ikenfell is a heartwarming turn-based RPG about a school of magic and its troublesome students. Use timing mechanics to power spells and block attacks, explore the twisted halls of a vast magic school, fight challenging monsters and bosses, and uncover dark secrets never meant to be found.
A Hat In Time – A Hat in Time is a cute-as-heck 3D platformer featuring a little girl who stitches hats for wicked powers! Freely explore giant worlds and recover Time Pieces to travel to new heights!
Additionally, donations were raised through the Tiltify Fundraising Extension and from December 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, inclusive Humble Bundle Inc. will also be donating their portion of all revenue earned by Twitch subscribers to GameChanger. Twitch subs allow viewers to support a channel with a one-time monthly subscription starting at $4.99. Subscribers are rewarded with access to channel’s emotes and other sub-exclusive content.
