Helsinki – November 9, 2020 – Supercell’s Clash of Clans World Championship Finals returns November 27–29 and will be streamed live around the world in an immersive online experience. The world’s top eight Clash of Clans teams will face off for their share of the $1 million USD prize pool and the opportunity to be crowned World Champions. ATN.aTTaX, Vatang, Ni Chang Dance, x6tence, Darkest MuZhan and QueeN Walkers qualified for the World Championship Finals by winning one of six monthly qualifiers. The community made the call for the final two wildcard spots following a special round of online voting by fans, with eleVen Original and H.T Family earning the most votes and a ticket to the World Finals.

Supercell partnered with ESL, the world’s largest esports company, for the second year in a row to produce the Clash of Clans World Championship, highlighting the best Clans from across the Clash community. More than 36 million players and two million teams from around the world participated in the in-game Clan War Leagues or ESL Play pre-qualifier tournaments for a chance to be eligible for the monthly qualifiers. While these monthly qualifiers had initially been scheduled to take place at the brand-new ESL Arena Katowice, they were moved to an online format as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
