Details below, CRL fans.
As we head into the final two weeks of the CRL West regular season, teams are jockeying for position in the standings for a shot at making it to the CRL World Finals in December.
Following their first loss of the Fall Season in Week 5, SK Gaming managed to get things back on track this past weekend by beating Chivas Esports 2-1 in an absolute slugfest. The battle for second place became a bit tighter, though, following Pain Gaming’s King of the Hill sweep against Team Queso in the last match of the weekend. Following the loss, Tribe Gaming, Spacestation Gaming and Team Queso all sit at 5-2, nipping at the heels of the 6-1 SK Gaming.
Team Queso and Tribe Gaming, both tied for second place, will square off this Saturday in a match that will surely have ripples throughout the playoffs. On Sunday, SK Gaming will look to solidify its spot at the top of the standings against Cream Real Betis.
