That is pretty damn cool. Enjoy the details.
EA and Maxis are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in the U.S. with a free in-game update for The Sims 4. This update brings players new in-game food recipes, Create-A-Sim options and build items inspired by Hispanic cultures through a collaboration with popular tattoo artist Mister Cartoon and SOMOS EA, an employee resource group centered on advancing EA’s diversity and fostering Latinx/Hispanic inclusion. The SOMOS team brainstormed a lot of culturally important ideas to represent their families and various cultures and these ideas have respectfully made their way into the game.
In The Sims 4 base game update, players can find a multitude of Hispanic Heritage items, including:
A new object: Chiminea (grill)
Grilled Food options: Asado, Grilled Plantains, Churrasco, Pinchos, Choripan, Chimis, Chimichurri Skewers, Elotes, Pollo a la Brasa
Outdoor Decor: Pottery, Arbor, Filetado-inspired sign/painting for backyard, kitchen or restaurant use
Painted Dining Set: Colorful Table and Chairs
Clothing: Panama Hat, Huipil, Guayabera and new items with designs inspired by Mister Cartoon
