Seattle, WA – Sept. 14, 2020 – Today, Amazon’s Prime Gaming Crown Channel announces the upcoming launch of a new original program, CLICKSPORT-1. The out-of-this-world, three-day gaming tournament, hosted by actor Dan Fogler, will air live nightly at http://twitch.tv/crown beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23. Each episode features five mythical nations competing in video games in hopes of being crowned the best gaming nation in the known universe.

Fogler, best known for his roles on The Walking Dead and in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, plays Xoc Aventus, a Digi-God of transmission from the far away Rigel system. Xoc sets the stage for the tournament as host, providing comedic commentary along the way. The premise of CLICKSPORT-1 is that Xoc Aventus developed the tournament by beaming top streamers into battle for his gaming pleasure. As the leader of a group of Ethereals, Xoc can teleport gamers into games of his choice, in the hopes that they will meet their gooey demise.

Each of the five nations includes Twitch streamers and at-home players they select from among their viewers. Competitors from the first season of Crown Channel’s Chasing the Crown, including winner @ChelseaBytes and runners-up @RedVaktor and @beewhyan, will be among the streamers participating in the tournament.

The five nations will compete in the following:

Wednesday, September 23 – Massively Multiplayer Game World of Tanks
Thursday, September 24 – Survival Zombie Game Last Day on Earth
Friday, September 25 – Third-Person Action Game Warframe

During the show’s run, Prime members can visit gaming.amazon.com to claim content for titles featured on CLICKSPORT-1, including a custom Xoc Tank in World of Tanks.

Viewers will be able to stream CLICKSPORT-1 daily – and vote on the most entertaining team – from Wednesday, September 23 to Friday, September 25 beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT by visiting www.twitch.tv/crown. Three days of trials will precede the event starting Saturday, September 20 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
