Tilting Point and Edgeworks Entertainment today released a fiery new update for their mobile indie hit TerraGenesis, the terraforming simulator rooted in real data and science from NASA. Players can access the TerraGenesis Lava Worlds update today, and for the first time in the game’s history, use the new Lava Worlds feature to completely alter the topography of their world with brand new volcanic mountains and valleys by melting and cooling entire magma oceans on their planets.
The TerraGenesis Lava Worlds update will also feature:
– Limited Time Lava Event – This global event (the biggest in TerraGenesis’ history) will let players leverage the new Lava Worlds feature to complete tasks to lower the temperature of their planet. Players will have 48 hours to take all the steps needed to save their planets from destruction.
– New Governor Keahi Malae – Ready to face the challenges presented by Lava Worlds, Keahi Malae is the youngest person ever elected to be Director of the Far-Future Institute. Known for his work in stabilizing the surface temperature of Mercury, Malae will play an important role in aiding players with the Lava Worlds limited time event.
– Playable Faction: The Far-Future Institute – The first playable faction added since the launch of TerraGenesis, The Far Future Institute (FFI) is an international society dedicated to reshaping humanity’s future through the pursuit and application of bleeding-edge science, and securing humanity’s destiny against any future extinction-level events. After a century of breakthrough discoveries and world-changing inventions, the FFI is no longer satisfied to simply advise the splintered factions of humanity as they bicker amongst themselves. Players can help this faction realize their vision of a civilization guided by science.
Developed by Edgeworks Entertainment’s Mobile Game Awards nominated team (“Best Indie Developer in 2018”), TerraGenesis lets players create and care for the life on their planet while turning it into a thriving paradise. Featuring realistic science and accurate maps, players are confronted with challenges and opportunities as they transform their world and create a new and unique society on the surface of each and every planet they visit.
