This sounds interesting. Check out the goods below.
Today, Dauntless introduces the first ever in-game activity for players that doesn’t involve hunting Behemoths. Springtide ushers in the vernal equinox with a new type of hunt – specifically, the hunt for eggs. The three-part hunt tasks Slayers with tracking down eggs hidden across an island, traveling to a specified location to herd in the Shattered Isles’ furriest new residents–the Pufflehops–and then finally protecting the Pufflehops from a Styxian invasion.
Based on their performance, Slayers earn carrot chips which can be redeemed for limited time Springtide cosmetics, emotes, and more.
To take part, Slayers need to speak with Markus the Bosun in the central plaza of Ramsgate, and then select the Event Hunt in the Map menu. The limited time Springtide event runs from April 9 through April 23.
You can find more information on the Springtide event, along with additional quality of life improvements and bug fixes included in this update, in our patch notes.
