Manticore Games recently launched the Open Alpha Core, a free platform and community for creating and playing games. Today, the Manticore team published a new blog post, titled “Core’s Road Ahead: What’s Next for Open Alpha and Beyond,” which maps out the feature priorities and Core’s high-level roadmap for both creators and players, including revenue sharing and monetization, leaderboards and level progression, a full-fledged NPC system and full support for an even wider variety of game genres.
