Afterparty review

Our review will be forthcoming. Until then, enjoy the details below.

Get ready to raise hell today! The highly anticipated video game Afterparty from Night School Studio is now available for purchase on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and Mac via the Epic Games Store. Afterparty will be priced at $19.99 for all platforms and will also be part of Xbox Game Pass’s monthly subscription, which is priced at $9.99. Additionally, PlayStation 4 players will have the opportunity to utilize a dynamic theme that’ll turn their dashboards into a demonic pub.

The official release trailer can be viewed here.

In Afterparty, players will take on the roles of Lola (voiced by Janina Gavankar) and Milo (voiced by Khoi Dao), recently deceased best buds who suddenly find themselves staring down an eternity in Hell. But there’s a loophole: outdrink Satan and he’ll grant re-entry to Earth. The narrative-focused game will also feature:

– An intelligent conversation system that will allow players to change the story and relationships based on every decision
– An underworld that features an interconnected network of islands via the River Styx
– A variety of libations (over 30), each changing the player’s dialogue choices and personalities
– A large, outrageous cast to interact with, all with their own unique set of problems
– Demonic activities including beer pong, dance-offs, and chugging competitions
– An original soundtrack by scntfc, who scored Oxenfree

More details on the Nintendo Switch launch will be coming in the next few months.

Hellacious new official Afterparty merchandise including the Helluva Shirt, Demon Head Enamel Pin and I <3 Hell Pint Glass are also available now through Fangamer.

Players can tune into the sounds of hell with the Afterparty soundtrack as well, with a thumping set of brand new tunes from acclaimed composer SCNTFC here.
