Tunche kickstarter funding continues

Looks fun. Check out the details below.

Ever wondered noticed that beat’em up games aren’t as popular anymore as they used to be?
Of course, you have. It might seem like there’s no more place for such games in the modern age. And yet, here we are, changing the rules of the game and the players’ perspective on the genre by delivering a well-known concept with a twist.
Samurai Jack-inspired hand-drawn animations, DMC-like style grade system, 4 unique characters, each with their own ability tree and mysterious backstories, epic boss battles, roguelike elements, permadeath, and lots of other features.

Tunche is a Peruvian tale of bravery and courage which is currently running it’s Kickstarter campaign. As of today, it has already been 30% funded by over 297 backers, and has received a ‘Projects We Love’ badge from Kickstarter. To celebrate this significant milestone in Tunche’s development we prepared a short animated trailer (below) which debuted at Kinda Funny Games Showcase and was developed into a free standalone version of the game, titled Tunche: Arena. This version will offer two modes to try: Horde Mode and Endless Mode and has 24 achievements to unlock. It will become available for a free download on Steam today, January 18th.
