The holiday festivities have hit PokerStars VR!
Over the Christmas period, players will be able to enjoy a winter wonderland scene in the lobby as well as new interactive props at a festive table, including a snowball machine, gingerbread cookies, Santa hats, eggnog, and reindeer ears – perfect for the lead-up to the big day.
Taking on the role of Santa is PokerStars’ very own Chris(tmas) Moneymaker, accompanied by his Ambassador elves. They’ll be bringing Christmas cheer to the virtual felt by popping in and out of the game, holding in-game giveaways, and giving players the chance to take down their favorite PokerStars Ambassador.
Since PokerStars VR’s launch last month, the free-to-play game has been well-received by players all over the world who have formed communities and immersed themselves in the virtual realm where the worlds of online and live poker collide. The game has found a place amongst the top multiplayer games in VR and has received extremely positive reviews on Steam and Oculus.
