SEGA Classics launches on Amazon Fire TV

This is one of the more enjoyable things that has come out of SEGA this year. Check out the goods below.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of SEGA Genesis, Amazon has teamed up with SEGA to offer SEGA Classics, 25 of the most popular SEGA Genesis games in one bundle, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage.

With the SEGA Classics bundle, Fire TV customers can access a catalog of classic games without having to purchase a pricey console, buy a controller, or switch HDMI outlets. To play, customers only need their Fire TV remote – or they can pair a compatible Bluetooth controller to their device. To get started, players simply need to open the SEGA Classics app on a Fire TV and start playing. With more than 15 of the games supporting multiplayer, SEGA Classics is a fun and affordable way to play some of the most beloved Genesis games with their friends and family this holiday season.

SEGA Classics, the most extensive SEGA collection on any streaming media player, is available now on Fire TV for $14.99.
