It’s appropriate that a creepy robotic spider* is making it to Battlefront II in the month of October.
Today, EA DICE revealed in a blog post that General Grievous will be available as a playable Villain in Star Wars Battlefront II starting October 30!
The notorious leader of the droid army is one of the most complex playable characters ever implemented into the franchise. In the game, General Grievous will wield two lightsabers for his regular attacks, while harnessing special abilities like Claw Rush, where he goes down on all six climbs to attack, Thrust Surge, which utilizes four lightsabers, and Unrelenting Advance, which spins his two lightsabers over his head while blocking forward attacks.
Players can also look forward to several newly themed Star Cards, Milestones and much more for the new character. Further details may be found in the official blog post here.
*EDITOR’S NOTE: I know he’s not a spider, but he’s creepy when he walks on all six — also, I’m aware that spiders have eight legs. I’m not a complete idiot. Not completely.
