The Game Awards and Facebook Gaming are looking for inspiring stories of people using the power of games to build community. The duo are opening up submissions for Global Gaming Citizens, and they want to hear about gamers, game developers, or anyone from anywhere in the world with a unique story of using games to bring about positive change.
The Game Awards and Facebook Gaming have teamed up with Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky, the Sundance-Award winning directors of Indie Game: the Movie, to help tell these stories later this year as part of The Game Awards, taking place on Thursday, December 6.
Airing live from Los Angeles, the 5th annual show celebrates the best video games and esports of the year, and world premieres the most anticipated games of the future. The Game Awards will be available to livestream for free across all major digital, gaming and social platforms around the world.
