Pokémon GO Fest: A Walk in the Park was a huge hit in Chicago

Check out those pics and details below. If they could do this sorta thing in Lexington, then that would be great for us all.

Today, Niantic published a blog post thanking the Trainers who came out to the Pokémon GO Fest: A Walk in the Park real-world event in Chicago this past weekend to discover and catch new Pokémon and explore Lincoln Park together. Over the course of two days, 21,000 Trainers attended the event, 180,000 Trainers participated in in-game activities surrounding the Chicago area and tens of millions of Trainers around the world took part in Professor Willow’s Global Challenge, unlocking related bonuses from now until July 23 for all Trainers globally.
