BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment has released a new update for TEKKEN Mobile, the first mobile fighting game, based on the iconic fighting game series. For a limited time, players can gain access to Akuma, one of the most famous characters from Capcom’s STREET FIGHTER® series. Players will also get to finally play as TEKKEN’s own Jin Kazama, who will be a permanent playable character. Lastly, this new update will also enable players to experience the game in a new Local VS mode.
TEKKEN Mobile fans will surely want to get in as much game time as possible to enjoy the addition of the legendary Akuma to the game’s character roster before he leaves the game at the end of May. This popular character will bring all his exclusive skills to the stage as well as new content, including a story arc, live events, customization items, and a brand new Waza card called “Special.” Jin Kazama, one of the most famous fighters of the TEKKEN franchise, is now available to all players as a permanent character in the lineup as well.
The latest update also introduces Local VS, a new gameplay mode that enables players to face off against local opponents via Wifi and Bluetooth. Players can now earn special tokens for competition in Local VS mode and access special events.
TEKKEN Mobile is available now on Android and iOS.
