Niantic has revealed in a blog post this morning that over the last week more than 2 million fans from around the world joined together to celebrate their love for Pokémon and Pokémon GO at Pokémon GO events supported by Niantic at Pikachu Outbreak hosted by The Pokémon Company and Yokohama, Japan.

Over the seven day celebration, players traversed the city of Yokohama and its beautiful parks to catch over 120 million Pokémon, including over 15 million Pikachu.
