SANTA ANA, Calif., June 1, 2017 – FACEIT, the premier online competitive gaming platform, has partnered with PGL, the host of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major, to bring the PGL Americas Minor Championship to the Santa Ana Esports Arena from June 8-11. Eight of North and South America’s best CS:GO teams will descend on Southern California to battle it out for a prize pool of $50K USD and a spot in the upcoming PGL Major Offline Qualifier in Kraków, Poland later this month.

Beyond the list of superstar teams competing in the Americas Minor will be an all-star cast of hosts and shoutcasters to bring all the action to fans live via PGL’s official Twitch channel: www.twitch.tv/pgl. Casting the exciting matches will be none other than CS:GO legend Anders “Anders” Blume, along with Henry “HenryG” Greer and Matthew “Sadokist” Trivett. Expert analysts Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill and Jason “Moses” O’Toole will add their key insights, and James Duffield will serve as host for the entire event.
