One of the finest LucasArts games from the 90s. If you don’t pick up this badass game, then you’re officially not a gamer. Seriously, one of the best of the bunch.
San Francisco — April 18, 2017 – Full Throttle Remastered, the classic graphic adventure game by Double Fine Productions’ Tim Schafer, is now available and features all new hand-drawn and 3D high-resolution artwork, with amped up audio, music and support for 4K on PC and PS4 Pro. Full Throttle Remastered can be purchased for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita from the PlayStation Store and for PC via GOG for $14.99. Mac and Linux versions will be available post-launch. To celebrate the launch, Double Fine Productions released a brand new launch trailer.
“It’s been awesome to hit the road again with Ben Throttle after 22 years,” said Tim Schafer, Founder and CEO of Double Fine Productions. “Seeing the game come to life in the way I had always imagined it looking has been a really cool process, and I’m super excited to share it with fans.”
Originally released by LucasArt in 1995, Full Throttled Remastered follows Ben Throttle, the butt-kicking leader of the Polecats biker gang who gets caught up in a tale of motorcycles, mayhem and murder. In the remastered edition, players will head back on the open road with the ability to timehop between the classic and remastered modes, and mix-n-match audio, graphics and user interface options as they wish. Fans will also receive access to bonus features including a concept art browser and recorded commentary from the game’s original creators.
Full Throttle Remastered is available now on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, and on GOG for PC for $14.99.
