Heavy Metal Machines adds Stingray to its roster

That is one helluva press release. Good way to hook ya. Check out the official details below.

Florianópolis BRAZIL, December 14, 2016 – Game developer Hoplon today announced that they have been in contact with the Metal Sect about the recent attempted shutdown of the Heavy Metal Machines arena, and have been assured by their leader Metal Herald that a suspect is in custody. The elite hacker, who goes by the handle ‘Stingray’, has reportedly been taken to an undisclosed location where he will be prepared to enter the arena to answer for his crimes.

According to a statement received by the team at Hoplon from Metal Herald, “the childish hacker Stingray made a foolish attempt to subvert the word of the Metal God, and temporarily shut down our broadcast servers. Our Acolytes are working under the watchful eye of the Metal God to restore full access to the Heavy Metal Machines arena, but until then we will be broadcasting the glorious battles of the arena on a new schedule:

Brazil
Wednesday: 18:00 BRST until 24:00 BRST
Saturday: 18:00 until 24:00

North America
Wednesday: 16:00 EST until 22:00 EST [4pm until 10pm]
Saturday: 20:00 EST until 02:00 EST [8pm until 2am]

Europe
Thursday: 17:00 CET until 23:00 CET
Saturday: 13:00 CET until 19:00 CET

“This upstart Stingray will soon find out the price to be paid for defying the Metal Sect,” Metal Herald continued. “He tried to destroy the arenas, but he will soon find out that true Metal enlightenment will only come through the spillage of his own blood in the arena he tried to feebly take down!”

UPDATE: Stingray is the newest addition to the roster of playable characters in Heavy Metal Machines, the hard-rocking vehicle combat game where legendary vehicles team-up to destroy one another in the blood and oil-soaked arenas of Metal City. The game is currently in closed beta on Steam for PC, which players can sign up to get into and experience the insane action and battles.
