castAR hires Eat Sleep Play development team

PALO ALTO, Calif., November 2, 2016  – castAR, which is bringing a new augmented reality gaming platform to market in 2017, announced today it has hired the development team of Eat Sleep Play, a leading creator of mobile and console game titles. This team brings in another collection of experienced and successful studio talent to castAR’s previously announced Salt Lake City studio, further strengthening the company’s focus towards creating platform defining gaming experiences for the castAR system.

The team of talented developers from Eat Sleep Play, led by industry veteran Scott Campbell, will be joining forces with the recently formed castAR Salt Lake City team currently comprised of former Avalanche software developers who most recently worked on the Disney Infinity franchise.

The castAR system is slated for a 2017 release.
